The jazz bar downstairs added to the charm. I caught a couple of live performances, which really set a lively mood in the evenings. My room had all the basics—a clean bed and a private bathroom, which I appreciated. The staff at the front desk were super friendly, letting me check in earlier than expected. However, the noise from the street and bar below could be disruptive at times, especially late at night. The decor felt a bit outdated, giving off a 'run down' vibe in places. The mattress wasn’t great, definitely saggy and uncomfortable. I woke up feeling more tired than rested, which is never ideal for a hotel stay. A little more attention to the mattresses and maybe some upgraded decor would help enhance the experience. Still, I love the vibrant atmosphere and would consider staying here again for a budget-friendly option near the action.

The best part was how quiet it was despite being above the Jazz bar. We didn't hear any noise at all and had a peaceful sleep. Plus, the location is a total win, super convenient for exploring the area.
